Legal Cum Relation Executive

Job Descriptions :

A. Internal governance

1. To coordinate with Human Resource Department in establishing policies and to monitor compliance
2. To conduct yearly training and briefing on the Policies established

B. Patent Monitoring

1. To ensure patent applications are renewed on timely manner and payment is made to the respective patent agent accordingly
2. To coordinate with respective patent agent on amendment of claims

C. Contracts Management

1. To draft and review commercial contracts and ensure the terms are in the best interest of the company.
2. To assist relevant departments in negotiation of contracts

D. Risk Management

1. To conduct legal risk assessments and to confirm risks

E. Investor Relation & Public Relation

1. To coordinate with IR/PR agents to ensure strategic communication of company’s affairs and image to public
2. To update and maintain organization's corporate profile and corporate governance on digital content in Facebook, LinkedIn and Company's website.

F. Litigation support

1. To gather and compile relevant evidences for litigation suits
2. To coordinate with external counsel

G. Sustainability

1. To coordinate with external source on matters related to sustainability reporting
2. To collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes
3. To organize CSR related activities throughout the year

H. Corporate

1. To prepare content of Annual Report i.e. Letter to Shareholders, preparation of slides for Annual General Meeting, preparation of other corporate copywriting materials

I. Ad-hoc duties

1. To handle ad hoc duties assigned by CEO and/or COO whenever necessary
2. To handle other business/marketing related tasks assigned by superior whenever required
3. To communicate with and manage any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors.
4. To monitor legal department budget

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Possess Bachelor Degree in Law and Commerce
2. Work experience: 2 years as in-house counsel or in-house counsel in manufacturing
