About the job Legal Assistant (Mandarin Speaker)

Interview date: Immediate

Working hours: 5 days a week

Responsibilities

  1. To draft, review and revise contracts related to our business (e.g. letters of appointment, development agreements) both in English and in Mandarin.
  2. To handle legal issues arising from our business and regulations governing our business and propose appropriate mitigating solutions.
  3. To advise on dispute resolution and coordinate advice from external solicitors.
  4. Prepare standard legal contract templates and precedents for the company.
  5. Keeping management updated on latest legislative and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Min 2nd Upper).
  2. At least 2-3 years of working experience (preferably with in-house experience).
  3. Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Malay.
