Role Description

We are seeking a Legal Assistant (Insurance Litigation) to join our team. This role involves handling insurance-related litigation matters, preparing legal documents, and assisting in trial preparations. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Handle insurance litigation cases, including drafting cause papers, pleadings, and legal opinions.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Comply with all pre-trial court directions and attend hearings, case managements, and trials.
• Liaise with clients, courts, and relevant authorities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with the team.

• LLB (Hons) Degree and admission to the Malaysian Bar.
• Prior experience in insurance litigation is an advantage.
• Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel when required.
