We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Programme Leader – Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health to join our academic team, ensure MQA compliance, and drive excellence in curriculum development and student success.

Job Description :

1. Teaching and Academic Delivery:

1. Deliver engaging and structured lessons for Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health courses, ensuring alignment with program outcomes.
2. Develop lesson plans, lecture materials, and assessment tools in compliance with academic standards.
3. Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and assessments effectively.
4. Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, including supervision of projects and assignments.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant knowledge into course delivery.

2. Curriculum Development and MQA Documentation:

1. Participate in the development, review, and improvement of the Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health curriculum.
2. Lead and contribute to the preparation and submission of MQA documentation for program accreditation and audits.
3. Ensure compliance with MQA standards and guidelines in all academic activities.
4. Develop course files, program handbooks, and other relevant academic documentation.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure course materials are current, comprehensive, and aligned with industry standards.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

1. Design and administer formative and summative assessments that align with program outcomes.
2. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance.
3. Participate in moderation and validation of assessments.
4. Ensure adherence to academic integrity policies during assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health program, ensuring academic quality and compliance with MQA standards.
2. Lead curriculum design, review, and enhancement to meet industry and regulatory requirements.
3. Manage MQA documentation and ensure successful accreditation and audits.
4. Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for the program.
5. Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students.
6. Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to align the program with market needs.
7. Contribute to research activities and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health
2. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a relevant program.
3. Proven experience in MQA documentation, compliance, and audits.
