To design, plan and deliver teaching and learning activities related to area of expertise.
To regularly review teaching effectiveness, including use of feedback from students and colleagues for improvement of teaching quality and effectiveness.
To participate in the design, development, delivery, review and enhancement of programs of study.
To undertake duties related to assessment such as preparation, vetting/moderation and marking of exam papers and any other form of assessment.
Research Responsibilities:
To participate actively in research and related scholarly activities & secure research grants.
To supervise research students at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
To achieve specified set of research outcomes in terms of publications, conference proceedings etc.
Administrative Responsibilities:
To coordinate the public health/community medicine modules.
To engage in the preparation of ISO and MQA documents for the above modules.
Any other administrative duties as required from time to time by the Dean/Head/Program Leader.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree or PhD from a recognised university preferably in Medicine (MBBS)/Pharmacology.
At least 3-5 years experience in teaching at College/University level.
