You will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, delivery, and support both academic and personal development for all students under your care. Your role will involve curriculum development, effective class management, and providing pastoral care to ensure a holistic educational experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
   Develop and prepare detailed lesson plans, schemes of work, lectures, practicals, tutorials, assignments, and class discussions to facilitate effective student learning.
2. Teaching Materials:
   Create engaging teaching materials, including notes, slides, manuals, and transparencies, to support student understanding.
3. Instructional Delivery:
   Deliver instruction in accordance with approved lesson plans and schemes of work, ensuring compliance with MQA guidelines and Partner University standards.
4. Learning Management System:
   Utilize the Blackboard Learning Management System effectively to enhance student learning and engagement. Regularly review and update lesson plans, schemes of work, and curriculums/syllabi to align with current educational practices and advancements in the field.
5. Assessment Development:
   Design and prepare test and examination questions, along with marking schemes, ensuring timely completion.
6. Academic Evaluation:
   Assess and grade all assignments, tests, tutorials, projects, and examinations to evaluate and communicate student performance.
7. Review Sessions:
   Conduct review sessions of past examination papers with students as necessary to aid their preparation.

1. CLASS MANAGEMENT
   Monitor student attendance and report any absenteeism, ensuring accountability and support for students. Prepare testimonials and reference letters for students upon request. Always maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.

1. PASTORAL CARE
   Holistic Support:
   Provide pastoral care to support the overall development of students, engaging in activities that promote their well-being.
   Academic Counseling:
   Offer academic advice and counselling to assist students in navigating their educational journey.

1. OTHER SUPPORTING DUTIES
   Examinations:
   Conduct and invigilate examinations as required, ensuring academic integrity.
   Workshops and Seminars:
   Deliver academic talks or workshops for students and the wider community, enhancing educational outreach.
   Extracurricular Involvement:
   Actively participate in extracurricular activities and college events to foster student engagement and community.
   Promotional Activities:
   Assist in marketing events, fairs, and exhibitions for the College as needed.
   Research Initiatives:
   Engage in research activities, sharing findings through academic papers and pursuing opportunities for patents.
   Publication Efforts:
   Compile and develop lecture notes to publish them as educational texts.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, as recognized by the Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is mandatory.
• Registered Nurse.
• Possess a valid/current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Possess Post-Basic qualifications.
• A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
• At least two (2) years of teaching experience.
