Lecturer, Department of Counselling and Psychology

We invite suitably qualified applicants to fill the following vacancies:

1. Lecturer, Department of Information Technology

• Possess at least a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline and a Bachelor's degree in Computing field.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields. Doctorate holders are encouraged to apply.
• Teaching Specialization/ subjects: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Network Infrastructure, Internet-of-Things (IoT), Robotics.

2. Multimedia & Visual Communication Lecturer, Department of Art and Design

• Possess at least a Master's degree in New Media, Visual Communication, Photography, Graphic Design or any related fields.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Teaching specialization: 3D modelling, 2D animation, 3D animation, 3D game design, user interface (UI), user experience (UX) or web design. Photography, video production, publication, visual communication or advertising.
• Good command of spoken / written English is essential.

3. Interior Design Lecturer, Department of Art and Design

• Possess at least a Master's degree in Interior Architecture & Design.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Registered as an Interior Designer or Graduate Interior Designer with the Board of Architects of Malaysia (LAM) or equivalent.
• Good command of spoken / written English is essential.

4. Lecturer, Department of Counselling and Psychology

• Possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Counselling / Psychology or related discipline.
• Candidate must be a registered counsellor under the “Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia”.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Good command of spoken / written English is essential. Proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.
• Undertake teaching and teaching related duties, research and scholarly activities.

5. Lecturer, Department of Business Management

• Possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Business/ Management or related discipline.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Good command of spoken / written English is essential. Proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.
• Undertake postgraduate teaching and supervision.

6. Lecturer, Institute of Ageing and Professional Care

• Possess at least a Master's degree in any discipline and a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in senior care, nursing or related disciplines.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Teaching Specialization/ subjects: Elderly Care Case Management, Independent Care, Dependent Care, Elderly Premise Hygiene, Safety & Security Administration, Workplace Setup in Elderly Care Centre.

7. Instructor, Institute of Ageing and Professional Care

• Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in senior care, nursing or related disciplines.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Teaching Specialization/ subjects: Elderly Care Case Management, Independent Care, Dependent Care, Premise Hygiene, Safety & Security Administration, Workplace Setup in Elderly Care Centre.

8. Executive, Institute of Ageing and Professional Care

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Possess valid driving license and willing to travel occasionally.
• Possesses good communication skills and can interact well with young students.

9. Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education

• Possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Provide information and advice to international students on all matters related to student pass and visa, facilitate the arrival of new international students, coordinate with EMGS for approval and documentation of Student Pass and Visa applications, etc.;
• Assists in organizing related activities, conferences, seminars and workshop for the Institute.

10. Secretary of Dean's Office, Institute of International Education

• Possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Secretarial support for meetings as and when required by the Dean, including drafting and circulating meeting agendas, preparing minutes, communicating meeting reminders and confirming venues, etc.;
• To manage, coordinate and maintain calendar of the Dean including appointments, meetings and travel, following up with action on matters as instructed by the Dean.

11. Software Developer, Computer Centre

• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or any related discipline.
• Gather and analyze requirements, design of technical specifications, developing solutions, problem-solving, testing, implementing, and supporting of campus systems.
• Familiar with the LNMP (Linux, Nginx, MariaDB, PHP7) environment.

12. Executive, Marketing and Sales Department

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Possess valid driving license with driving experience, willing to travel within the country frequently.
• Possesses excellent selling skills and closing techniques, articulate and be able to make sales presentations at schools, assists in recruitment of students, education fairs, etc.

13. Executive, Public Relations Department

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Fundraising activities, donor system management, handle emergencies and post-event management.
• Internal and external public relations, coordination, and guest reception.
• Liaise with media, release articles, and collaborate with other departments on promotional events.

14. Executive, Publicity Department

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Supervise and review all promotional materials: including press releases, posters, brochures, official website, New Era UC Member APP, and publications (academic, audiovisual, and digital).
• Manage the New Era Online Shop: administer sales of publications and other products, and manage inventory.
• Xinguang Magazine: plan, create and edit content, and publish the magazine. recruit and manage student editors, journalists, and photographers.

15. Graphic Designer, Branding and Creative Department

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or any related discipline.
• Conceptualise, curate and produce branding-related designs across all media platforms.
