1. Training Strategy & Development
• Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with business goals.
• Assess training needs across different roles (kitchen staff, front-of-house, management).
• Improve the existing onboarding programs for new hires.
• Create structured training modules for leadership development, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
2. Training Delivery & Implementation
• Oversee the rollout of physical training and e-learning.
• Collaborate with restaurant managers to ensure on-the-job training effectiveness.
• Organize train-the-trainer programs to empower internal leaders to mentor staff.
3. Performance & Compliance Management
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and KPIs.
• Keep up with industry trends to update training content accordingly.
• Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
4. Employee Development & Engagement
• Support career growth initiatives through skill-building programs.
• Organize workshops, coaching sessions, and learning events to enhance team capabilities.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with Operations and Restaurant Managers to align training with business needs.
• Partner with external trainers or consultants when needed for specialized programs.
• Gather feedback from employees and management to continuously refine training initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Hospitality Management, retail or a related field.
• Proven experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service excellence.
• Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs.
• Knowledge of e-learning platforms, training tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel to different restaurant locations as needed.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
Preferred Skills
• Certification in instructional design, coaching, or training methodologies.
• Experience with digital learning tools and gamification techniques.
