Leading learning and development activities and process in Lyreco SiMa. Create, promote, and foster individual and organization effectiveness by developing and offering an array of innovative and diverse programs in support of the organization's commitment to our employee development and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability

  1. In-charge of end-to-end L&D function to ensure effective L&D plan and activities in supporting development of our people. Work includes working closely with Group L&D in ensuring Lyreco training module is implemented successfully at sub-level in a timely and organized manner.
  2. Carry out company-wide yearly L&D Need Analysis and well-designed L&D program that addresses employee competency gaps (OJT, Soft Skills, Technical skills, etc.) effectively.
  3. Strong business partnership with department management team in order to provide relevant learning recommendations to enhance employee productivity.
  4. Lead trainer to deliver selected in-house training program/topics to the employee effectively (i.e., NEON, GreatLyder, etc.).
  5. Project leader for any group learning/training program. Lead the program to ensure successful implementation at the local level with all respective stakeholders and department training (i.e., Sales Excellence program).
  6. Fully in-charge of Workday Learning platform. This includes planning, organizing, structuring, and uploading all department learning material into WDL (SiMa learning library) in a timely manner. Onboard end users to WDL successfully; and continue to drive organization in digital learning approach (webinar, WDL, e-learning, LinkedIn Learning) successfully and effectively.
  7. Timely provide learning report to the management team on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. This includes recording and tracking employee training attendance, post-training feedback survey.
  8. Carry out post L&D Analysis, provide management reporting and recommendation of company ROI.
  9. Work closely with TA and Managers to provide ongoing L&D support to employees and mid-management team (New joiner onboarding training, refreshment training, new process implementation training).
  10. Complete all other ad-hoc tasks related to your role assigned to you from time to time.

Qualification, Personal Profile and Characteristic

  1. Minimum Diploma in the field of Psychology / Human Resources / Business Administration.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft PowerPoint), experienced user in Workday (or any other HRIS application), well-versed with TNA, Intermediate Project Management skills, strong analysis skills, great communicator and presenter skills.
  3. Candidate with Train The Trainer skills is an added advantage.
  4. English (other languages commonly used in Singapore/Malaysia will be a plus).
  5. Minimum 5 years working experience as a trainer or in L&D function.
  6. Good time attendance and strong self-discipline.
  7. Strong planning and execution skills.
  8. Positive thinker and able to turn around negative emotions during the workplace into positive energy.
  9. Ability to manage cross-departmental stakeholders' feedback effectively and positively.
