Role Description

We immediately need an engaging training specialist to help us enhance and grow our global training program. This energetic individual can come from any area of the business, as we have wide-reaching development needs across all facets of our business.

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will work under the current hybrid office/home model.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Conducts training needs assessments and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed with training programs.
  • Creates engaging instructor led sessions that provide opportunities for interaction, collaboration and learning.
  • Builds annual programs based on needs to include interactive webinars, LMS courses, and instructor led classroom training.
  • Markets and promotes available training to employees and provides necessary information about sessions.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts from across the business and involves them in the development of related content.
  • Maintains knowledge of the Human Resources Development Corp (HRDC) levy and ensures Airswift colleagues have access to claimable external training.
  • Periodically evaluates ongoing programs to ensure that they remain accurate and relevant to the audience.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Proven work experience at Airswift.
  • Passion for learning & developing others.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Innovative & able to advise on the latest trends in virtual learning.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating or executing events/programs.
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate).
  • High attention to detail and QA of materials and courses.
  • Local language and proficiency in English - written and speaking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint & Teams.
