Job description

Lead the design process for our app and other user engagement platforms, focusing on user flows, interactions, and visual design to create an intuitive experience across various markets.
Define the design guidelines and information architecture for our app, ensuring consistency across related products and services to provide a cohesive customer experience.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and developers to create clear and effective user interfaces that achieve both product and business goals.

Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights into consumer behavior and preferences, identifying opportunities for improvement in the app's functionality and generating innovative solutions.
Analyze data from user interactions to make informed design decisions and continuously optimize the user experience.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts for new features related to ordering, payment, and delivery tracking.
Able to iterate quickly to generate a wide range of design concepts.
Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistency across all apps and internal platform interfaces.
Present and advocate for your proposed design solutions to stakeholders by effectively communicating the rationale behind your design process and how it aligns with product and business goals.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to align on promotional strategies and enhance the overall user journey for the app and internal back-office portal.

Mentor junior designers in best practices for UI/UX design, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Develop training and mentorship tools to enhance design practices within the UI/UX team.

Portfolio: [MANDATORY] A strong portfolio showcasing your recent work experience with design systems, visual design, and interaction design. Clearly outline your end-to-end workflow, demonstrating how you progress from problem discovery to launch. Recent work should preferably be presented in English or Mandarin. Experience: At least 6 years of experience in UI/UX design with a proven track record of leading multiple design projects from strategy to launch, preferably in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Figma Mastery: Advanced skills in Figma; you are not just a user but a Figma expert!
Tech Savvy: Basic understanding of front-end technologies to collaborate effectively with developers.
Mindset: An open-minded, creative problem-solver who thrives on tackling challenges.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (Mandarin is optional), capable of articulating your concepts, vision, and decision-making processes.
Other Skills: Proficiency in Service Design, User Research, Front-end Development, Project Management, Accessible Design, or Design Systems.
Mentorship: Experience coaching and mentoring UI/UX or Product Designers.
