Lead UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver exceptional user experiences through wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes, ensuring products are both beautiful and intuitive.
2. Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and techniques to keep our brand competitive and innovative in the market.
3. Collaborate with content stakeholders to prioritize, create, and implement new websites and pages, tailored to user needs.
4. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, refine designs, and continuously improve the user experience.
5. Define product interactions, workflows, and UI specifications in partnership with product managers and development teams.
6. Manage multiple design projects, balancing priorities, deadlines, and quality standards effectively.
7. Develop and present creative, forward-thinking design concepts that align with the brand's vision and user expectations.
8. Lead and mentor the UI/UX design team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
9. Ensure scalability, responsiveness, and accessibility in all design deliverables.
10. Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
2. Minimum of 8 years in UX/UI design, with a strong creative portfolio showcasing exceptional design work.
3. Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant platforms.
4. Skilled in designing for web, mobile, and native platforms, with a focus on consistency and user-centricity.
5. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to address complex design challenges effectively.
6. Demonstrates obsessive attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished user experiences.
7. Proven experience in leading and mentoring design teams, driving results, and cultivating innovation.
8. Familiarity with website architecture, design, and development processes.
9. Experience designing, prototyping, and coordinating implementation with scalability, uptime, and security in mind.
10. Required language(s): Mandarin, English.
11. Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin is preferred as the role requires dealing with Mandarin speaking customers.
