LEAD UI DEVELOPER

We are Malaysia’s leading Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) and we are aggressively expanding our business, looking for dynamic, driven, and motivated individuals to join our team. Our Direct-To-Consumer segment (D2C) is one of our fastest growing product areas in the market, with an abundance of expansion plans and innovative ideas on hand.

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with the team and be an active team player.
2. Write application specifications and requirements when needed.
3. Conduct proper testing and guide the team for testing.
4. Troubleshoot issues quickly and propose solutions.
5. Implement solutions matching back the specifications.
6. Identify weaknesses with the implementation and suggest improvements.
7. Manage the team to deliver the required solutions.
8. Provide guidance to other team members.
9. Identify improvement areas during implementation.
10. Work with the team to develop solutions that match the requirements.
11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the developed solutions meet expectations.
12. Communicate with external customers when needed.
13. Work hard to deliver tasks within the required timeline.

Professional Experience

1. Experience in managing teams for 2 years.
2. Required skill(s):
1. NextJS Framework familiarity is preferred. Understand Server Side Rendering.
2. ReactJS familiarity can be considered.
3. CSS – Familiar with normal CSS and TailwindCSS.
4. Understand Component Based UI Development.
5. Familiar with Testing Tools like Jest, Cypress, Playwright, SeleniumHQ.
3. Additional skill(s):
1. Familiar with secure tools like SonarQube, Fortify.
2. Able to write codes securely.
3. Able to translate UI Design to codes.
4. Familiarity with Web Design best practices.
4. Required language(s): English / Bahasa Malaysia.
5. Familiarity with the Financial Industry is a plus.
6. Understanding of the following concepts:
1. Proper Object-Oriented Programming.
2. Software Design Patterns and Anti-Patterns.
3. IOC / MVC.
7. Know the following tools:
1. Git / Gitlab.
2. Jira.
3. Jenkins.
4. Sonarqube / Fortify.

Projects

1. Enhancements on existing UI applications.
2. Upgrades of existing UI applications to the latest technology.
3. Review and propose solutions for new projects.

1. Guide team members on the implementations needed.
