Job Summary

To design and deliver the Google - Gamuda AI Digital Academy syllabus to university students / working professionals who wish to learn about programming which includes front-end, back-end, AI and Cloud content. This is a coding focused academy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead demonstrations of code writing and app building.
2. Interview students to find out if they would be a good fit for their course.
3. Structure day-to-day lecture plans.
4. Set office hours so that students can discuss their projects or work with them.
5. Help and guide students troubleshoot code and carry out practical assignments.
6. Mark and assess student work and provide useful critical feedback.
7. This position is to be based at Sabah, Malaysia.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or its equivalent.
2. Good to have skills badges or certification on Cloud / AI.

Skills & Abilities

1. Fluent in Javascript, Python.
2. Fluent in Javascript frameworks such as VueJS/ReactJS.
3. Familiarity with DevOps and cloud. Preferably Google Cloud.
4. Familiarity with AI concepts.
5. Friendly and approachable demeanor.
6. Good teaching skills with university students.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an instructor/trainer in a relevant field.
