LEAD SUSTAINABILITY

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or any other related fields. Professional certifications/license in sustainability, environment, or any other related fields is an added advantage.
• Experience working in sustainability reporting/assurance, corporate responsibility, management consulting, advisory, or equivalent is highly preferable.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in related/similar field.
• Strong report writing with good verbal communication skills in English and Malay languages.
• Strong analytical skills & computer literate (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel).
• Understanding of some key non-financial assurance reporting, good knowledge of sustainability framework, standards, and practices e.g. GRI, Bursa Malaysia Sustainable Reporting Guides, ESG trends, etc.

MAIN DUTIES

• Responsible to lead Group’s sustainability strategy - driving organization & stakeholder value creation and protection, develop and implement Group’s enterprise-wide sustainability strategy and policies which includes short-term plans and long-term sustainability vision and goals, targets, and metrics.
• Act as secretariat for sustainability functions, provide holistic oversight in driving the integration of sustainability into business operations and support senior management to understand emerging ESG trends, risks, and opportunities to leverage organization position for growth, as well as to develop resilience strategies to respond to changing conditions in addressing emerging ESG trends that can affect future business performance of the Group.
• Responsible to lead Internal Sustainability Transformation – engagement programs to embed sustainability innovation in culture, motivate employees, cost-saving realization, and strategic leadership expert/knowledge across organization.
• Responsible to initiate stakeholder engagement, sustainability data, and lead the publication of sustainability disclosures aligned with international standards and best practices.
• Plan, direct and coordinate operations of sustainability at group level, including building the team and overseeing the selection and development of highly skilled, effective, and engaged staff for optimum performance.
• Manage sustainability program budgets and schedules.
