Lead Risk Consultant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Bureau Veritas is seeking a dynamic Lead Risk & Safety Consultant to join our team. As a seasoned professional with expertise in risk and safety studies, you will play a key role in shaping our company's success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate risk assessment workshops for clients across the SEA region.
• Conduct thorough safety assessments, including Quantitative Risk Assessment.
• Prepare and review reports on safety instrumented functions and formal safety assessments.
• Guide teams in using modeling software and supervise safety case preparation.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support Business Development in preparing proposals and marketing our services.
• Represent Bureau Veritas at industry events and conferences.
• Provide training to engineers and assist with task delegation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications, such as Functional Safety Engineer, are advantageous.
• Chartered Engineer or professional accreditation preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of consultancy experience in risk and safety engineering.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:

• Proven experience in risk and safety engineering roles.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead teams.
• Excellent communication and client interfacing skills.

We offer a competitive salary of RM150,000 - RM200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
