Lead Process Engineer (Experience in Automation Programming and Software)

Position Summary:
Apply technical solution skills in driving technical improvement and resolutions to technical issues with a systematic approach to issue closure. Lead program implementation and perform against schedule timely to minimize impact to production startup. Drive innovation and value engineering activities to improve manufacturing efficiency.
What You Will Do:
- Leads engineering team members, sharing expertise and responsibilities, driving for final project goals.
- Lead key engineering projects/program and sustain yields, quality & cost for product line processes.
- Monitor, improve, analyze and control processes, materials, tooling and equipment.
- Lead and drive projects to improve product and process, cost or performance through design or process changes.
- Keeps abreast of the state of the art in areas of expertise. Applies and disseminates this knowledge to the area of responsibilities so as to improve processes and product's performance.
- Lead major/breakthrough projects which are of significant impact to overall business strategy and able to execute cross-functional responsibility.
- Source/recommend new equipment and piece-parts to revamp the manufacturing process with a high level of product quality and process efficiency.
- Implements the use of SPC techniques.
- Handle customer issues and manage 8D reports.
- Coordinate and lead technical audits.
- Pay attention to all PSCS awareness and attend scheduled PSCS training.
- Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
- Working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Material or Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering field.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED Qualifications:
- Be a recognized expert in packaging assembly.
- Systematic approach in problem solving.
- Good technical report writing skills.
- Understand machine performance measures and designs using engineering principles.
- Organization, planning and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of TPM.
- Familiar with FOL Die attached and Disco Sawing processes.
- Must have writing script knowledge to enhance reliability lab automation system and maintain the existing system.
