Lead Murex Environment & Configuration Management Consultant

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Responsibilities

1. Deploy and manage Murex Software needed for Murex client's projects using Murex tools and scripts.
2. Environment deployment and Management Operations.
3. Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products.
4. Act as a first-level support for already deployed Murex products, re-directing and following the issues with the corresponding support teams.
5. Use Murex configuration management tools to import/export configuration items and analyze related issues.
6. Extend the existing configuration management tools.
7. Define and implement a strategic CICD pipeline.
8. Apply the configuration management methodologies.
9. Perform database sanitization and purging procedures.

SKILLS

Must have

1. 12+ years of relevant experience in Murex configuration & environment management.
2. Scripting (perl, awk), SQL, Unix XML, RDMS Operation.
3. Should have set up Murex environments from scratch and be an expert on Environment Management activities.
4. Strong knowledge and hands-on with Murex server architecture: Launcher configurations/Services/Load Balancing.
5. Experience in Murex CTT and industry standard CICD tools (Git, GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.).
6. Knowledge on DevOps.
7. Possess good knowledge of server infrastructure and Databases.
8. Working experience on Linux/Unix and server load balancing.
9. Good overall understanding of Murex architecture and overall Murex functionality.
10. Exposure to various Murex settings, parameters, and configurations.
