We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Learning & Development Lead to spearhead impactful initiatives and build a strong talent pipeline.

What you'll do:

  1. Identify learning needs and gaps in current approaches.
  2. Develop learning framework and strategies and approaches.
  3. Develop and leverage learning materials tailored to different audiences.
  4. Implement and evaluate a wide range of learning and development programs.
  5. Source, select, and manage external L&D providers and resources.
  6. Develop and implement blended learning platforms (face-to-face, online, etc.).
  7. Oversee an effective onboarding process centered around our Values.
  8. Utilize the Learning Management System to manage and evaluate learning outcomes.
  9. Stay updated on innovative learning approaches and implement new methods.
  10. Collaborate with Regional General Managers and Senior Leaders to identify training needs.
  11. Manage L&D budget and ensure program delivery within approved limits.
  12. Integrate talent management processes into the company culture.
  13. Partner with HRBP on succession planning and performance management.
  14. Build talent assessment strategies and tools to select and develop top talent.
  15. Develop evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of organizational development programs.
  16. In partnership with the HRBP, coach managers on people management skills and routines.
  17. Develop and implement strategies for enhancing and leveraging leadership capabilities: people management skills and leadership skills.
  18. Develop and execute high potential leadership programs, focused on advancing leaders and succession planning (future plan).

What we're looking for:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Learning & Development.
  3. Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, flex your style based on the audience, from frontline roles to Exco Members ensuring training objectives are met. Capable of handling sensitive information and training instructions thoughtfully.
  4. Ability to analyze and assess training needs, translate those needs into actionable training initiatives, get alignment and buy-in and improve existing training programs.
  5. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, developing good connections with people inside and outside the company. Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment, with keen attention to detail, proactiveness, a strong sense of personal accountability, and composure in times of uncertainty.
  6. Ability to build deep and meaningful connections, earning the trust of others to effectively implement training strategies, programs, and initiatives.
  7. Expertise in delivering training programs successfully, capturing learners' attention, and developing their desired skill levels through effective instructions, information, or practice.
  8. Willingness to travel within Malaysia and Singapore occasionally to support training and development needs across various locations.
