Lead Developer

Objectives of this Role:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions.
• Define and implement best practices for software development and architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure the team adheres to project timelines, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and incorporating emerging technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Architect and oversee the design of end-to-end solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and are optimized for speed and scalability.
• Oversee the design and development of APIs and integrations for seamless connectivity across systems.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical and business objectives.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues in systems and processes to maintain uptime and performance.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive technical innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least five years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack technologies.
• Proven experience leading a development team and delivering complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of web frameworks, RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud-based architectures.
• Excellent debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and deployment automation.
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and balance multiple projects.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Professional certifications in software development or project management.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as ClickUp or Jira.
• Interest in mentoring team members and fostering professional growth within the team.
