Location: Subang Jaya
Salary range: MYR 6,500 – MYR 8,750
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Create and execute contract management strategies to ensure efficient contract administration.
- Review, negotiate and finalize contracts to protect company interest and minimize risks.
- Work with teams like legal, sales, operations, procurement, and finance to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Track contract performance and ensure all parties adhere to agreed terms and conditions.
- Address potential contract issues and resolve disputes promptly with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews and renewals to maintain favorable terms.
- Maintain accurate and accessible records of contracts and related documents.
- Provide training on best practices for contract management to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Keep informed on industry trends, legal changes, and regulations that affect contracts.
- Contribute to the creation of policies and procedures for contract management and risk mitigation.
- Lead the application process if an extension of time is required from the client.
- Assist procurement in reviewing contract terms for fairness and clarity.
- Prepare and submit variation order claims to clients with proper documentation.
- Oversee the insurance claims process, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
- Assist the tendering team to ensure thorough and efficient bidding processes.
- Undertake all duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or any related field.
- 5-7 years in contract management with experience leading contract teams.
- Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
