Job Title:

Summary:

Ambitious and detail-oriented financial analyst sought to assist the finance manager in planning, studying, and collecting data to determine overall profit and loss of business activity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience in Oracle in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and lead the overall accounting works for the entity.
• Adjust and balance entity accounts and analyze changes in the balance sheet.
• Coordinate the general ledger month-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciliation.
• Ensure that inter-company transactions are reconciled and compliant.
• Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's financial systems.
• Estimate expenses and amortize prepaid expenses.
• Consolidate salary and payroll costs.
• Assist in the budget process including monitoring administrative expenses and actual spending.
• Prepare and submit local tax filings e.g., tax declaration, e-invoicing.
• Prepare information and manage the audit process.
• Analyze financial information and prepare financial statements for audit reports.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as pre-close overall profit and loss and balance sheet.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or completed Accounting Professional Qualifications (e.g., ACCA/CPA/MICPA) or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of working experience in Finance or Accounting and able to handle full set of accounts.
• Experience in Oracle in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Strong data analysis skill and detail oriented.
• Self-initiative and motivated with ability to adapt to changes and demand.
• Good communication skills and fluent communication and writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
