LDC Adopt Manager Demand and Supply APMAJC

Summary

To lead deployment activities for Supply Chain Management, Demand and Supply, Intercompany Order Management, and Material Master in collaboration with function leads and experts in NOCCs, countries, or above countries. To coordinate in NOCCs with process experts and business champions in own functional area.

The role reports to the LDC Adopt Region APMAJC Supply Chain Management Lead.

About the Role

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the deployment of LDC Releases of functional business processes in a standardized and scalable manner.
  • Collaborate with functional team members to understand and execute the agreed scope of each release.
  • Define, allocate and coach the resources required for successful in-country deployment and delivery.
  • Work with Adopt Lead to ensure seamless interaction of expertise areas and activities above country.
  • Adhere to the LDC template and the confirmed LSTRs in the Deployment process area.
  • Identify, assess, mitigate and escalate the risks of business implementations with the Business or Function Process Lead, and monitor any locally triggered projects.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders on functional and deployment deliverables.
  • Support user acceptance testing to enable local organization endorsement and support for positive "Go" decision.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between Functional and Business experts (e.g., country, NOCC, HUB, etc.) to achieve sustainable process solutions.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities for each stakeholder group and communicate them effectively.
  • Monitor the progress and quality of the Final Adopt activities and provide timely feedback and guidance.
  • Ensure that the risks and issues are properly identified, assessed, mitigated, and escalated as needed.

Key performance indicators:

  • Completion of LDC deliverables according to communicated plan.
  • Satisfaction with quality of delivered outcome.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years' working experience in country or NOCC functional Supply Chain role ideally working as a SC Demand Manager for a country.
  • Ideally been part of a local rollout of Kinaxis Rapid Response solution in a country.
  • Experienced working with global teams in a virtual setup and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to engage, influence and drive change with senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of processes within supply chain management, supply and demand, logistics.
  • Managing a team directly or indirectly.

Skills:

  • Project management, communication, negotiation and coordination; can manage country/plant stakeholders.
  • Strategic and pragmatic hands-on approach, with ability to make things happen (preparing & running meetings, tracking plan progress, managing risks).
  • Role model for Novartis values and behaviors across the organization with ability to motivate people directly and indirectly.
  • Good understanding of Functional processes.
  • Business transformation and change management.
