LAYER7 API Gateway developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with LAYER7 API technologies, security protocols, and load balancers. This role involves developing, managing, and monitoring APIs, ensuring robust security, and optimizing performance. The work model is hybrid, with no travel required.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain APIs using LAYER7 API Gateway, ensuring high performance and security.
2. Implement and manage policies and plugins within the LAYER7 API Gateway.
3. Utilize the LAYER7 API Developer Portal to facilitate API management and developer engagement.
4. Oversee the deployment and management of LAYER7 API Management SaaS solutions.
5. Monitor API performance and security using LAYER7 API Monitoring tools.
6. Integrate and manage mobile APIs using the LAYER7 Mobile API Gateway.
7. Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards, including OAuth.
8. Optimize server and site performance using load balancers.
9. Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange using JSON.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless API integration and functionality.
11. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
12. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
13. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Certifications Required:

• Certified LAYER7 API Management Professional, Certified API Security Specialist, Certified REST API Developer
