Laboratory Assistant Job Description

To assist all testing working on site and lab. To witness the entire test that is carried out and keep and maintain all the records.

• Job Responsibilities

1. Assist especially with filling testing working.
2. Assist with aggregate tests, ACV Test, Sieve Analysis Test, Standard Compaction Test, CBR Test, and others.
3. Record and prepare daily activities and results.
4. Assist with structure working, taking samples for cube testing, aggregate test, slump test, and others.
5. Perform testing job when assigned.
6. Keep daily result testing.
7. Report site matters and conditions to the clerk of works from time to time.
8. Ensure all failed testing is re-tested.
9. Supervise sampling and testing at site and laboratory.

• Internal Organization - Acre Works Staff.
• External Organization - Subcontractors and Clients.

• Knowledge

1. Experience in the construction industry.
2. Knowledge of all testing for concrete and soil.
3. Understanding of IMS.

• Skills

1. Good spoken and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
2. Able to work under pressure.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualification: Diploma in any field with a minimum of 1 year experience.
