Laboratory Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team at B-CROBES LABORATORY SDN BHD in Ipoh, Perak. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform a variety of routine laboratory tests and analyses to support research and development projects.
2. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, glassware, and work areas in a clean, organized manner and in good condition.
3. Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory and clean room, disposing of waste products in a proper manner.
4. Assist in the collection, processing, and documentation of samples and data.
5. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.
6. Maintain detailed records and assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and submission of documents for regulatory purposes.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations and procedures.
8. Assist in manufacturing processes and any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by other divisions.
9. Willing to be transferred to other departments during reshuffling exercises.

What we're looking for

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, or equivalent.
2. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
3. Candidates with knowledge in aseptic techniques will be an added advantage.
4. Applicants must be willing to work extra hours if required.
5. Fresh graduates or those with working experience/higher education level may also apply. Salary package shall commensurate according to the position offered.
