Job Responsibilities

• Ensure daily laboratory activities are carried out in a safe manner, and follow all the standard operating procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Carry out all inspection and analysis for incoming material, in-process material, final product, and other additional samples according to the Quality Control Plan and standard test methods. Provide test results/test reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform instrument verification/calibration according to plan, and ensure proper upkeep of all instruments.
• Perform inspection on instrument calibration status routinely and report to superior when an instrument is found faulty or calibration is due.
• Carry out necessary sampling as per work requirements.
• Ensure all retained samples and documents (e.g., COA) are being kept properly.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all quality records, both physical records and records maintained in software systems (e.g., instrument, SAP, etc.).
• Ensure all lab consumables, gas cylinders, and chemicals are stocked sufficiently for routine operation, and alert for reorder when stock is depleted.
• Conduct online inspection for packaging line, storage tank, and road tanker/ISO tanker inspection.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the laboratory at all times.
• Perform other related duties assigned or requested by the Management from time to time.

Job Success Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Science or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in a laboratory is preferred.
• Exposure to ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, Kosher, and Halal will be an added advantage.
