Lab Technician

· Responsible to teach and demonstrate the use of equipment, experiments, exercises techniques and processes in the laboratories.

· Assisting students in carrying out such experiments and exercises whenever necessary.

· Preparing the materials for laboratory sessions and managing the equipment, apparatus, and chemicals.

· Managing stock control, compiling orders, liaising and/or negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining appropriate records for laboratory use.

· Producing laboratory manuals and related teaching materials.

· Monitoring, controlling, and maintaining the laboratory facilities and equipment in accordance with laboratory standards to ensure the validity and integrity of experimental results.

· Ensuring that health and safety requirements and other relevant regulations are in place and adhered to, including the completion and recording of necessary checks.
