LAB ASSISTANT (CIVIL ENGINEERING)

Job Responsibilities:

1. To supervise and carry out field testing.
2. Data processing of testing report.
3. To check, receive and record sample from client.
4. To deal with client regarding testing.
5. To supervise and carry out routine maintaining of equipment.
6. To prepare report of laboratory inventory and upkeep data.
7. Cleaning of test equipment.
8. Carry out laboratory housekeeping.
9. Assist in any duties as directed by head.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: A certificate or diploma in Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not required. On-the-job training may be provided.
• Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment used.
  • Ability to accurately record data and maintain lab records.
  • Skills in maintaining lab cleanliness and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with lab team members.
