L1 Dell EMC Storage Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Dell EMC Symmetrix/VMAX/PowerMax operations and management.
2. Dell EMC VNX/Unity/PowerStore operations and management.
3. Dell EMC PowerScale/Isilon operations and management.
4. SAN Directors (Cisco and Brocade) operations and management.
5. Networking/NAS/File operations and management.
6. Replication (Array based Replication Technology) operations and management.
7. Timefinder (Array based Business Continuous Volume/Copy/Protection) operations and management.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in Dell EMC Storage Products (minimum Level 1 and L2 of storage operation experiences).
2. Minimum Level 1 of UNIX/Windows Server operation experiences.
3. Installation, configuration, and administration of VMAX3, VMAX AF, PowerMax, VNX, Unity, PowerStore, PowerScale/Isilon, Recoverpoint (RPA), and Connectrix MDS Products.
4. Strong knowledge in areas such as Block, File/NAS, Recoverpoint, SRDF, and Timefinder.
5. Performance troubleshooting skills (knowledge with tools such as Unisphere Performance Manager and VNX Performance Manager).
6. Key knowledge in areas such as LUNs provisioning, LVM, VxVM, and ZFS/SVM.
7. Knowledge in databases such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and Oracle RAC is advantageous.
8. Knowledge in Data Domain would be an advantage.
