Responsibilities:
1. Develop courseware and conduct theory/practical courses per MTOE and CAAM requirements.
2. Prepare audio/visual aids to support planned courses.
3. Conduct courses per the Training Calendar and maintain high instructional standards.
4. Enforce discipline and punctuality among course participants.
5. Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of training aids.
6. Maintain classroom cleanliness at the end of each instructing day.
7. Act as an invigilator for examinations not related to their instruction phase.
8. Revise and update course notes as assigned.
9. Organize aircraft or workshop visits to expose trainees to relevant facilities and equipment.
10. Record trainees’ daily attendance and hangar attendance.
11. Counsel and tutor trainees as needed.
12. Mentor and guide weak students to improve performance.
13. Promote and enforce safety awareness in hangar activities.
14. Research and review training methods to enhance delivery.
15. Assist in curriculum material preparation.
16. Submit potential questions to the Examination Center.
17. Conduct Aircraft Maintenance Experience Training as scheduled.
18. Prepare trainee assessments and progress reports.
19. Perform roles of Practical Assessor as approved.
20. Address non-compliances as directed.
21. Perform other tasks as directed by the superior.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 5 years of aviation experience, including practical experience in an approved maintenance environment.
2. Hands-on experience with CAAM Part 147 training delivery; Part 66 knowledge is a plus.
3. A “Train the Trainer” certification or equivalent instructional qualification.
4. CAAM AML B1 or B2 certification is required.
5. Type-rated on modern aircraft (e.g., A350, B777, or similar) is highly desirable.
6. Strong presentation and instructional skills, with the ability to engage trainees effectively.
7. Familiarity with training aids, including audio/visual equipment, and the ability to develop course materials.
8. Proven ability to mentor and coach trainees, with a focus on academic and practical performance improvement.
9. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle diverse training responsibilities.
10. Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
