Key Account Manager – Malaysia (Handling Singapore Accounts, Travel Required)

The Role: Key Account Manager

This role will be based in Malaysia but will also be responsible for managing Singapore accounts, requiring travel to Singapore as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire post-Go-Live journey, ensuring smooth renewals and long-term success.
  • Customer Engagement & Onboarding: Lead kick-off calls, introduce customers to the platform, and clarify post-implementation priorities.
  • Escalation & Issue Resolution: Handle escalations, track ETAs, and ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Maintain structured and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Adoption & Updates: Keep customers informed about major product releases, new features, and best practices.
  • Account Growth & Expansion: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive account expansion.
  • Billing & Payments: Ensure timely invoicing, payments, and resolution of financial queries.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and 12-month growth plans for each account.
  • Churn Prevention & Retention: Monitor customer health, implement retention strategies, and manage renewal processes.
  • Internal Reporting & Insights: Publish detailed reports on churn, improvement areas, and key account insights.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to address dependencies and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Competencies

  • Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or IT project management.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a bias for decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams in different geographies.
