The Role: Key Account Manager
This role will be based in Malaysia but will also be responsible for managing Singapore accounts, requiring travel to Singapore as needed.
Responsibilities
- Customer Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire post-Go-Live journey, ensuring smooth renewals and long-term success.
- Customer Engagement & Onboarding: Lead kick-off calls, introduce customers to the platform, and clarify post-implementation priorities.
- Escalation & Issue Resolution: Handle escalations, track ETAs, and ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Maintain structured and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Product Adoption & Updates: Keep customers informed about major product releases, new features, and best practices.
- Account Growth & Expansion: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive account expansion.
- Billing & Payments: Ensure timely invoicing, payments, and resolution of financial queries.
- Forecasting & Planning: Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and 12-month growth plans for each account.
- Churn Prevention & Retention: Monitor customer health, implement retention strategies, and manage renewal processes.
- Internal Reporting & Insights: Publish detailed reports on churn, improvement areas, and key account insights.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to address dependencies and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Competencies
- Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Prior experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or IT project management.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a bias for decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills for customer engagement and relationship management.
- Ability to collaborate across teams in different geographies.
