What you will do:

  1. In charge of the strategic acquisition of new customers for commercial mortgage / property backed financing.
  2. Source for prospective business banking clients for commercial mortgage / property backed financing through tie-ups such as agents, brokers, developers, and lawyers.
  3. Achieve agreed sales targets through new business acquisition by selling commercial mortgages products.
  4. Responsible for achieving overall business objectives with the customers or channels.
  5. Work closely with customers to enhance and build strong and long-lasting relationships to drive target sales.
  6. Leverage deep understanding of market & customers dynamics to build and execute business strategies and plans.
  7. Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution. Conduct regular reviews with customers on different business aspects.
  8. Work closely with internal stakeholders such as sales team, admin, finance, and ops team to ensure timely delivery of products.
  9. Implement and execute action plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses.
  10. Prepare proposals on commercial terms for products, in accordance with company policies.
  11. Report on the activities and products of the competitors.
  12. Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc.
  13. Follow up on customer issues, respond to customer orders and queries. Inform current and prospective customers of promotions/ new products.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

What we are looking for:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer mortgages / property backed financing.
  2. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build credibility at the executive level.
  3. Entrepreneurial, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, combining strong commercial instinct, financial knowledge along with an eye for detail and a sense of urgency.
  4. A proven track record in the related field.
  5. Significant commercial and contract negotiation experience.
  6. Experience of working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment and managing a team.
