The Key Account Executive (KAE) will be responsible for managing relationships with key retail chain pharmacy accounts, including both headquarters and outlets, driving sales growth, and executing marketing strategies to enhance product visibility and availability. This role requires excellent communication skills, understanding of pharmacy landscape and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers at chain pharmacies' headquarters and outlets by close collaboration and partnership throughout the year.
- Act as the primary point of contact for purchasing and communication with retail chain pharmacies, conducting monthly contract/business update engagement and quarterly business reviews.
- Conduct field visits and product promotion to key account pharmacy headquarters and outlets and be accountable for achieving territory-specific business and sales goals.
- Engage with stakeholders at chain pharmacies proactively to understand their business priorities and plans, utilizing insights to develop partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, ERC, PV and Medical) to develop strategy and resource allocation to ensure alignment on objectives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor territory business plans towards achievement of targets in Retail Chain Pharmacy Key Account. Responsible for sales achievement of sales KPIs of the assigned region.
- Coordinate and execute marketing strategies to increase visibility and embark on joint business plan (JBP) process with key accounts pharmacy headquarters.
- Monitor marketing activities execution progress and program deployment for optimization.
- Assist in identifying market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform the company's marketing strategies.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or any related field.
- 2-5 years of experience within the pharmacy channel.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy landscape and business acumen, excellent negotiation skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Highly adaptive and flexible in a dynamic learning environment.
- Required to travel across state.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
