Your new company

A leading company in the healthcare industry who is known for their quality products. They are looking for an experienced Key Account Executive to come on board to support sales efforts and manage client relationships.


Your new role

  1. Responsible for the sales plan and strategies for Modern trade – Drug Pharma / CVS chain / Hyper Supermarkets channels.
  2. Responsible for A&P management for the accounts in charge to ensure cost efficiency and positive ROI.
  3. Responsible to achieve sales, new listing, SKU's expansion, brand & product visibility and availability to sustain demand & maximise business growth.
  4. To conduct analysis – by considering the PDCA (Plan, Do/Did, Check result and Action to be taken next).
  5. Negotiate business terms with each channel and/or customers to reach the most effective conditions and/or profitability for the company.
  6. Gain customers, competitors and market insights and leverage on these commercial insights to create a sustainable business for the company and retailers.
  7. Coordinate with brand team to align brand strategies & directions, ensuring a common key objective is achieved in the trade.
  8. Lead and conduct business reviews with key accounts/retailers to align business objectives and sales plans as well as frequent store check/audit to have a better gauge on the market situation, identifying key problems, opportunities and service level.
  9. Produce Weekly and monthly reports; give up-to-date sales information on customers’ sales activities in order to keep track of their performance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business Studies/Science/Marketing/Business Management or equivalent.
  • Prefer candidates with at least 3 years of working experience in Modern Trade – Key Accounts Management, particularly in Drug Pharma and/or Hyper Super Markets Channel.
  • A person with good business acumen, excellent at data analysis and solution proposals/ideas.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, results-oriented, team player and be able to work independently.
  • Good command in English & Chinese, both spoken and written.
  • Willing to travel. (Required to travel to out station/ East Malaysia 1-2 times per month).
