Sadhana Demolition & Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Site Engineer to join our team. We are looking for candidates committed to long-term employment with the Company, and who are eager to learn and grow in the demolition and construction industry. The successful candidate will assist in the execution of demolition projects, ensuring the safe and efficient removal of structures and machinery, adhering to all safety regulations and project specifications. The role involves site inspections and reporting, coordinating with the internal team, consultants, and sub-contractors, and managing day-to-day on-site tasks to ensure the project progresses smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of demolition projects on-site.
• Support project team in conducting site assessments and preparing project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards and report any incidents immediately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Perform daily site inspections to monitor work quality and report any issues.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of industrial working experience, or recent graduate with a strong academic background; prior internship or practical experience in construction is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project as well as other basic computer applications.
• Basic understanding of construction and demolition processes is a plus, ability to understand industrial/construction drawings.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, ability to judge and make good decisions.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work at a fast pace, independently and proactively, results-oriented without much supervision.
• Must be able to travel and work at the station according to project requirements. Own transport is essential.
• Willing to learn and committed to long-term employment.
