Junior Retail Mall Design Architect

The Junior Retail Mall Design Architect is responsible for the conceptualization and development of innovative retail projects that align with market trends and business goals. This role involves creating comprehensive proposals for retail spaces, coordinating with various building consultants, and ensuring the successful materialization of the retail concepts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail design, customer behavior, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualization of Retail Projects:
   1. Develop creative and strategic retail concepts that meet business objectives and enhance the customer experience.
   2. Create mood boards, sketches, and design briefs to communicate the retail vision clearly to stakeholders.
2. Proposal Development:
   1. Prepare detailed proposals for retail projects, including design concepts and project timelines.
   2. Present retail concepts and proposals to internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and expectations.
3. Coordination with Building Consultants:
   1. Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and other building consultants to translate retail concepts into actionable plans.
   2. Ensure that all design and construction elements are aligned with the overall retail vision and brand identity.
   3. Oversee the development and implementation of construction documents, including site plans, floor plans, and elevations.
   4. Provide input to consultants drawing from a retail point of view.
   5. Attend CCM and Technical Meetings.
4. Project Management:
   1. Monitor project progress from concept to completion, ensuring timelines are met and quality standards are maintained.
   2. Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
   1. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
   2. Facilitate meetings and discussions between different teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
3. Skills: Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
4. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office.
5. Excellent organizational skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on the finer details of a project, ensuring all elements align with the overall concept.
