JUNIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Description

Report to Engineer or his assigned.
Manage the department to achieve defined objectives.
To assist Engineer in studying production, which generally includes such aspects as economic analysis.
Conduct DFM, process capability study for product design and requirement.
Lead to resolve any technical issues that arise during NPI (New Product Introduction) / FA (First Article) preparation stage.
To assist Engineer in areas such as tools, fixture, and facilities design, as well as other aspects related to manufacturing.
To assist Engineer in researching manufacturing processes and systems.

Responsibilities

1. Problem-solving and finding solutions;
2. Proactive in process improvement and cost savings activities;
3. To assist Process Engineer in tasks given;
4. Maintain the Standard Operation Procedures updated;
5. Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures, and shop floor rules;
6. Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by Department Manager;
7. Maintain good housekeeping and 5’s;
8. Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows;
9. Utilize process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategies;
10. Adhere to all applicable Occupational Safety and Health laws and regulations as well as such standards, practices, and procedures instituted by the Company.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or 2-3 years related experience.
Computer literate including design software and AutoCAD.
Problem-solving skills.
Must be a team player.
Strict attention to detail.
