Junior Legal Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Vetting of Wills, Trusts and any commercial transactions related documents;
• Liaise with clients/sales team for enquiries related to wills, trust and estate planning;
• Conduct training sessions/webinars to sales team and public when required;
• Conduct research for article publications on company's social media;
• Must be well-versed with the various laws and regulations related to wills, trusts, estate planning & financial services;
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of new laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its businesses and advise the management on any potential legal issues/risks arising therefrom;
• Ad-hoc assignments assigned by the HOD/Department.

Education & Experience:

• At least one year working experience in a law firm or insurance company;
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent, CLP/BPTC is not required
• Kindly state in your resume whether you plan to pursue your CLP/BPTC studies or not.
• Experience in conveyancing & litigation is an added advantage.

Skills & Abilities:

• Required language(s) in speaking and writing: Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin language is needed to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people from all levels.
• Able to work with minimum supervision after completion of internal training.
