Junior Legal Executive

Job Responsibility

Key Responsibilities

1. Vetting of Wills, Trusts and any commercial transactions related documents;
2. Liaise with clients / sales team for enquiries related to wills, trust and estate planning;
3. Conduct training sessions / webinars to sales team and public when required;
4. Conduct research for article publications on company's social media;
5. Must be well-versed with the various laws and regulations related to wills, trusts, estate planning & financial services;
6. Conduct legal research and keep abreast of new laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its businesses and advise the management on any potential legal issues/risks arising therefrom;
7. Ad-hoc assignments assigned by the HOD / Department.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

1. At least one year working experience in a law firm or insurance company;
2. Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent, CLP/BPTC is not required;
3. Kindly state in your resume whether you plan to pursue your CLP / BPTC studies or not;
4. Experience in conveyancing & litigation is an added advantage.

Skills & Abilities

1. Required language(s) in speaking and writing: Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin language is needed to deal with Mandarin speaking clients;
2. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people from all levels;
4. Able to work with minimum supervision after completion of internal training.
