Job Description:

1. Applicants will be exposed to both conveyancing and litigation matters.
2. Assist Partners in preparing cause papers for litigations and conveyancing.
3. Assist Partners with various ad hoc tasks and duties.
4. Work as part of a team.
5. Willing to help others and eager to learn.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Junior Legal Assistant
   i. Interested in working in both conveyancing and litigation matters.
   ii. Must have prior experience in conveyancing matters; applicants with exposure to litigation matters will be prioritized.
   iii. Must be able to work independently and handle SPA, charge, loan and banking security documentation, discharge of charge, perfection of transfer & charge, and other conveyancing matters.
   iv. Able to do online filing, submission, and registration (documents in relation to LHDN, land office, and PA at high court).
   v. Assist in drafting legal documents, submissions, other cause papers, legal advice, conducting legal research, and preparation of trial documents.
   vi. Newly called to the Bar candidates are encouraged to apply.
   vii. Good written & verbal communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an additional advantage.
2. Chambering Student/Paralegal/Attachment
   i. Applicants will be exposed to both conveyancing and litigation matters.
   ii. Highly motivated with a good working attitude and discipline.
   iii. Good organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
   iv. Able to do legal research and have sufficient knowledge of using Lexis Nexis and other case law search engines.
   v. Good written & verbal communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an additional advantage.
