Junior Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components using Storybook and Web Components.
• Collaborate with designers to implement user interface components.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
• Test and debug web applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

• Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Knowledge of UI component libraries and Web Components.
• Experience with Storybook for component development.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of responsive design principles.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good English communication skills (B2 level or better).

Nice to have

• Experience with React and/or React Native.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with Webpack and npm for build management.
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles.
• Portfolio of personal or academic projects.

Work location

This is a remote position for a developer based in Andalusia, Spain. A reliable internet connection and availability to work during core Spanish business hours is a must.
