Role Description: Zalora is looking for a creative and tech-savvy Junior Designer cum Social Media Intern to join our Commercial Modest team. This role offers a unique opportunity to merge design expertise with social media skills, playing a crucial part in creating visually stunning content that drives engagement across Zalora’s digital platforms. You will collaborate with the creative, marketing, and social media teams to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to life while staying at the forefront of e-commerce trends in the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Creative Support:
Create engaging visual content for social media platforms, including Instagram, and TikTok.
Assist in the design of promotional materials, such as banners, story highlights, and branded content.
Support the development of graphics for on-site campaigns, email newsletters, and seasonal lookbooks.
Social Media Management:
Assist in managing Zalora’s social media calendar, scheduling posts, and ensuring consistent branding.
Research trending topics, hashtags, and emerging formats to optimize engagement.
Engage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive content like polls or Q&A sessions.
Content Creation:
Participate in ideating and executing photoshoots or video content for social media.
Edit short videos, GIFs, or motion graphics to amplify content reach.
Stay updated on the latest social media trends to propose fresh and creative content ideas.
Performance Tracking:
Assist in tracking and analyzing the performance of social media posts using analytics tools.
Provide insights and suggestions to enhance reach and engagement.
Requirements:
Education & Skills:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva.
Basic knowledge of video editing and social media tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, or native platform tools).
Photography or videography skills are a plus.
Social Media Savvy:
A strong understanding of different social media platforms and their content requirements.
Experience with TikTok trends, Instagram Reels, and other short-form video platforms is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Creative thinking and a strong aesthetic sense.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills and an eagerness to collaborate.
