Positions Available:

  1. Junior Conveyancing Lawyer
  2. Senior Conveyancing Lawyer
  3. Conveyancing Clerk

Job Scope:

Junior/Senior Conveyancing Lawyer:

  • Able to handle sub-sales, developer projects, discharge, perfection of charge, perfection of transfer and other conveyancing matters.
  • Able to handle and manage all loan documentation for mortgage, SME & corporate loan.
  • Able to draft agreements with minimum supervision and errors. (for juniors, under supervision by a partner)
  • Able to liaise with clients, bankers, developers and various governmental bodies.
  • Able to advise clients in connection with conveyancing matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, timelines, laws and regulations.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the firm from time to time.

Conveyancing Clerk:

  • To handle, prepare and assist subsale SPA, Loan, Perfection, Discharge and all other conveyancing related matters.
  • To liaise with clients, bankers and lawyers.
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
  • Able to manage time well and meet deadlines.
  • Able to monitor and follow up closely with all the files, attend to client correspondences and prepare status reports.
  • Able to assist in administrative work.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Junior/Senior Conveyancing Lawyer:

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor of Laws, LL.B.(Hons.) and current Practicing Certificate.
  • Preferably minimum five (5) years of practice in conveyancing field. For juniors, minimum one (1) year of practice in the conveyancing field. Fresh graduates are not encouraged to apply.
  • Strong legal research skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • Hardworking, responsible and committed to work.
  • Willing to learn, able to handle stress well and to complete tasks within the timeline.
  • Able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and positive attitude.

Conveyancing Clerk:

  • At least two (2) years of working experience in handling conveyancing related matters from initial stage until completion.
  • Able to handle and/or manage various general conveyancing matters.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a positive working attitude.
  • Experience in handling auction cases will be an added advantage.
  • Able to commence work as soon as possible or with short notice will be an added advantage.
