Location: Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday 8.00 to 4.30pm)
Working Hours: 8.00am to 5.30pm

Characteristic Requirement:

1. Open for all Malaysians and at least 1-year experience related to F&B Barista or Hotel Management.
2. Min. Diploma holder and having a hotel background will be an advantage.
3. We want team players who are positive, outgoing, and have a great personality.
4. Must have an interest in the coffee and tea industry and design new drinks recipes.
5. Knowledge of handling coffee machines and latte art skills will be an advantage.
6. Must have strong communication skills and be friendly with customers.
7. Must have mathematics knowledge to calculate drinks costing.
8. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to record S.O.P drinks and costing.
9. Must know how to use a PC desktop.
10. Be punctual and have consistent attendance.
11. Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
12. Multi-tasking of various front and back of the house duties such as assisting in organizing stock, preparing stock, daily cleaning, sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment. If you cannot accept multi-tasking, please don’t apply for this job.
13. Must have a healthy body, not frequently on medical leave, and can continuously stay at the bar for 8 hours handling drinks.
14. Must have own transport for work.
15. Must have a driving or motorcycle license.

Job Scope:

1. Responsible for training baristas of all our customers.
2. Explain and demonstrate beverages and equipment to customers.
3. Maintain and update Latte Art skills.
4. Packing and re-packing drinks material.
5. Stock inventory checking.
6. Develop new beverages or seasonal beverages quarterly from existing or new raw materials.
7. Assist in resolving any problems from customers related to beverages recipes and brewing equipment.
8. Check, update, and draft standard operating processes (SOP) of our drinks recipes.
