HQ Concierge, a white-glove service, is also offered. It ensures seamless implementation and continuous back-office support at all stages, collaborating with local experts for tasks like incorporation, account reconciliation, payroll, and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Accountant / Accountant, you will get the opportunity to dive deep into solving accounting roadblocks for Web3 teams. At issue is how to recognise, measure and account for investments in, transactions and issuances of, the various types of crypto assets. We are looking for a dynamic individual with an interest to delve into this ascendent asset class through the lens of the existing IFRS.

You will be in charge of:

1. Maintaining full sets of books for clients including preparing payments, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, raising journals and preparing financial reports in the cloud accounting system
2. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies
3. Discussing, proposing, and streamlining financial process workflows including use of automation and tools
4. Advising on best practices for accounting and financial reporting
5. Staying updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance

Job-related skills or experience:

• 2-3 years experience in an outsourced accounting practice/external audit firm, with a strong foundation in accounting principles (IFRS/SFRS)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, quick learner and thinker
• Effective time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Minimal supervision required; ability to manage tasks independently
• Proficiency with MS Office / Google Suite, esp Excel and Word
• Experience with cloud accounting software, Xero will be a definite plus

Minimum qualifications:

• Recognised degree in Accountancy
• Professional accounting qualifications are an added plus
• Candidates pursuing CPA, ACCA, CA or other recognised professional qualification are welcomed
