We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the Finance Manager in overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring effective daily accounting activities, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including e-Invoice implementation and tax requirements.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring smooth operations and timely reporting.
2. Responsible for daily cashflow monitoring and bank transactions.
3. Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and preparation of monthly management accounts.
4. Responsible for year-end audit and tax filing.
5. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies as required.
6. Responsible for profit forecast and tax estimation (CP204).
7. Assist in improving accounting processes and financial reporting efficiency.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations e.g. E-Invoice, tax regulations.
9. Provide guidance and support to the Account Executives and Account Assistants.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Knowledge in e-Invoice implementation, submission, and compliance is a must.
3. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
5. Good leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and reporting tools.
7. Familiarity with AUTOCOUNT is highly preferred.
8. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
9. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
