Junior Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Aims Agile Factory Automation Sdn Bhd in Taman Perindustrian Meranti Jaya, 47120 Puchong Selangor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting and bookkeeping operations, contributing to the overall financial well-being of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure financial accuracy
• Providing support in the preparation of tax returns and other compliance-related tasks
• Collaborating with the accounting team to improve processes and implement best practices
• Offering administrative support to the finance department as needed

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a small practice or start-up environment (New Graduates are welcome to apply)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently
