Jungheinrich Technician Apprentice Program (JTAP) - Fresh Graduate
The Service Technician Apprentice will undergo a 12 months Jungheinrich Technician Apprenticeship Program. Under this program, the apprentice will receive onboarding, attend technical classroom training, and be assigned on-the-job assignments to carry out maintenance, repair, and testing of trucks. Throughout the program, the apprentice shall be paired with a Service Technician for on-the-job support and guidance.
Upon completion of the program, the service technician apprentice shall be evaluated and is expected to:
- Have completed Basic Module 1 & Basic Module 2 training and pass the relevant assessment.
- Complete and pass the Training on the job and Practical Assessments for Onboarding, Preventive Maintenance, and Junior Trucks section.
Core tasks of the function:
- Maintenance, repairs, and legal inspection of electrically operated trucks according to valid directives, safety regulations, and manufacturing specifications.
- Repair of mechanics, hydraulics, controls, and electrical industrial components, partly in collaboration with internal and external support.
- Creation and care of system documentation and parameter backups.
- Creation and care of maintenance lists for offer preparation.
- Documentation of executed works, e.g., with service reports.
- Support for commissioning equipment if required.
- Support truck collection and delivery if required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Automotive Engineering or related fields.
- Proficient in local language will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience regarding processes and standards of the relevant customers.
- Knowledge and proficient use of IT systems within the area of responsibility (ServicePlus, MS Office, Diagnostic software, Parametrization software, and Documentation tools).
- Analytic skills - Methodical maintenance and repair.
- Organizational skills.

- Able to cope with a dynamic environment.
- Customer service-oriented.
- Able to work independently.
