Java Principal Software Engineer / Technical Lead

The person will participate in custom enterprise application development and maintenance for large corporations both within Asia and worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the software development life-cycle.
• Lead the development, design, and implementation of applications and changes to existing information systems and software packages.
• Perform system analysis, design, testing, system integration and documentation whenever necessary.
• Provide recommendations and assist in the preparation of project plans, time and resource estimates, task tracking, reporting & completion to deadline of assigned tasks or team, and priorities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with middle management team, internal & external stakeholders.
• Guide, mentor & train the team to deliver and carve the career growth plans for your team.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Management as and when required.

Skills & Experiences

• Candidate must possess a relevant qualification in Software Engineering.
• Not required but good to have: Angular, Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban or similar).
• Fluent in Mandarin to liaise with managers from China.
